Great finds!!! I have a wet-suit, but haven't worn it because with my luck, I would have to go "potty" as soon as I got it zipped-up. That could be bad.

Hey Majagldragon your to late, started detecting in water up to my knees in March, learned to swim in June, learned to snorkel in July then combined that with my detecting soon after, now im in the water up to my neck sometimes 4-5 hours a time when i get time that is.
Since the end of March i've found around 500 dollars in cash not even looking for it ! 1 small gold chain, 31 rings comprising of 16 silver 10 gold 1 tungsten 4 assorted metals, and 2 gold charms, and given back to an hotel a ring worth around 5 -6 thousand dollars second hand value.
In monetary value my Excalibur II as definitely paid for itself over again.
In entertainment value its been priceless, and to continue the entertainment that's where the wetsuit come in one more ring of the right colour, and that's paid for too.
Plus the fact i get enjoyment out of cleaning the junk of these beautiful beaches too.
Oh Eric, tried The Pink beach club beach, two rip tides one coming from each end, and you know west beach is only small, so i was only in there for an hour, i felt like a coin in a tumbler LOL.

Well Mate, I'm sorry to hear that Pink Beach hasn't panned out for you yet - I was worried that might be a tough one to hunt but had hoped you would get lucky with the weather. Perhaps another time, conditions will be more favourable.
I'm going to try and get down to Horseshoe Bay tomorrow morning early; if I'm lucky the aquasize ladies will be in attendance, provided it hasn't gotten too cold for them.

Cheers,

I saw a show from our local public broadcasting station that featured your Island and it was truely beautiful. They showed Tobacco beach and some of the tourist attractions and towns. Very pretty to be sure. I was looking for a couple of water pirates when they were showing the beaches but didn't find you guys in the shot. Don't know when they actually filmed it.

Probably didn't see us surf pirates because there are only about a dozen on the whole island of Bermuda. Seaslug would be one of the newest surf pirates, as you might have noticed by his enthusiasm.

PS my avatar above is a pic I took during a hunt at Horseshoe Bay, Bermuda - right after Hurricane Kyle blew through - actually the storm was still blowing when I took that pic
