For the price of ratphones I would recommend these and they are better...
Bose Around-Ear Headphones –Audio Headphones - Bose Headsets and Headphones

I do work for Bose Manufacturing and I bought a pair this year for my XLT cus the the XLT has volume control...
They are light weight and can cancel out the background noise although they are not noise canceling headphones.....
I really do like mine and recommend them to an alternative to the ratphones....

I am worried about wearing the totally over the ear cuffs. I use a pair of cheap lightweight headphones set in front of one ear and behind the other. This way my ears are not covered and I can hear whats going on around me.

The guy that made the RATs could not find the quality product he needed. He has set up another site so I am not sure. I have a set and they are good.

As to the Preadator site I do not know. I have one of their tools. Very well made and good stuff.

Give one of our sponsors a call and see if they can help you, Beale.

They do come with an adapter as Dave said and it is gold plated I believe....
They are great headphones......I love mine and will not get any other brand.....Plus you get the BOSE quality that no other company has...
Plus they come with a drawstring carry bag....
