Exclamation How to take a closeup shot (macro mode) with your camera

I see a lot of pics of peoples finds on this site that are really fuzzy and out
of focus.

I thought it would help some of you to see this website that shows how to use
"macro mode" which is available on 99% of all digital camera's.

here is a link to the easiest, and shortest description of how to do it:
Macro Mode - Close up shots
Here's a short video

Using Macro Mode is very quick and easy to do and the resulting pics are excellent!

There are plenty of site's dedicated to macro mode photography and google
is your friend.

sorry if this post seems too forward, I am merely trying to help.

In your case you could take a cheap magnifying glass and hold it against the camera lens I think you would be surprised how well it does......

Mine is a cheapo and no macro.

I use my Web Cam to take mine.

I just crank the lens out so it's about to fall out and do it!

One final note to add to this all is that every camera has a minimum distance that the macro mode will work on, in my case its 4" on my older Sony DSP-P72. Anything closer and it will be out of focus. So read your manual and find out, and then you are on your way to better close up pics...

You can also do some adjusting in the picture site you are using. I know Photobucket lets you zoom in, crop, etc. I am still learning. My biggest problem is the only camera is my wifes. I really do not know how to use it, Beale.
