Hi, new to the forum AND metal detecting. After extensive research, I decided on the Garrett ACE 250 as a starter and I think I'm already catching on. After receiving the ACE and watching the instructional videos and reading the manual, I took the unit to a church volleyball court behind my house. After appx 1.5 hours of hunting, I found appx $2.00 in coins, including a John quincy Adams dollar. The ACE was spot on accurate and I can't wait to get some more experience and time under my belt! Thanks for the wealth of information on the ACE 250!
