Thanks Everyone for the wishes! I don't have a good place to go detecting for Civil War Relics so yesterday I went fishing on the Hatchie River for Crappie. Thought I'd enjoy the day for an early birthday present to myself as rain is in the forecast for today. I had a great time and caught several fish using the crappie jig. Total fish were about 30 to 35 crappie (only brought home 9 of the biggest) 6 spotted (kentucky red eye) bass, 2 bluegill and 1 chain pickerel. Here are 2 of the bigger crappie.
I'm off all week so I'll try to get out and swing some. Maybe try to hook-up with a buddy or two?
Deer Season opened yesterday so I try not to get around those high powered bullets......just want to dig a few out of the ground and not out of my old butt, LOL
