Default Mrs. Ford is Happy

I received a phone call from the lady who had lost her 48 year old wedding band at Horseshoe Bay, the one I retrieved a couple of weeks ago. Mrs. Ford was able to identify the inscription inside the ring and I was happy to arrange for her to reclaim her wedding band.

She dropped by my home this afternoon and was all smiles to see the ring back on her finger again, it made me very happy as a ring return always does. She offered me a reward and I asked for two things in exchange for her ring being returned.
1) that she do something nice for someone else the next time she gets a chance
2) that she allow me to take her picture so other surf pirates can see how much greater the gift of returning a ring is than the value of the gold

A lovely, lady who was still beaming as she drove away, her wedding band where it belongs.
