Default What minelab to get???

I'm wanting the X-Terra 70 or the E-TRAC
I had a whites xlt last year and sold it but recently bought a whites quantum ll/QXT and it's nice but I'm wanting something newer/nicer and lightweight.
I'm not sure what to get
The price difference for these two machines are very different. Is it worth the extra money for the E-TRAC.
I'm fairly new to detecting so nothing real complicated. But I do want the best machine for my money.
If anyone can give me some info to help. Thanks

The basic rule applies for all detectors. Buy the best you can afford.

Sometimes that means buying the LAST best detector, used, and saving a ton of money.

The 70 is fairly user-friendly. I'm not real crazy about a 705, but the 70 rocks. Don't know much about an E-trac.

I will just say this. The 70 is a very nice unit, Beale.

Thanks for the info
I'm not going to spend over $1,500 on one, so I should have a lot of choices out there for under that price range.
All of my research has pointed me to the X-TERRA 70 or E-TRAC

The X-Terra was and is my 1st real detector. It is easy to learn and use. Lots of coil choices, and will hit deep also, Beale.
