Default Fall Turkey Day Hunt

Due to conflit of schedules, our family will break bread this Sunday instead of the traditional Thursday. That gave me a free day to play! Hit the sand at 6:00am just at sun up. What another outstanding Fall day in Southern California. It was so clear and calm it looked like you could swim to Catalina. On my way across the wet sand to the water I heard that sweeeet low clear sound that gold makes. After a second scoop down, out poped a 1919s Buffalo nickel. I was in utter shock!! And it was the first signal of the day!! What are the odds?!?! Spent the next several hours pulling clad out of the sand and that was about it. Not a bad way to spend a Turkey day . Enjoy the pic's of balmy Calli.

Congrats on the very good hunt! The Buff is a great find anytime. Being able to read the date so clear is great, Beale.
