Exclamation Coil selection help please

Hi there, Just picked up a Prizm 5. (It has not arrived yet)

It comes with a Bigfoot, but no other coils. I am considering getting the 8" or the little 4X6 DD coil.

I will only be hunting for coins and jewlrey at the local park and at homesites.

I have used both coils before on the DFX,XLT and XL Pro.

But from what I have read, the Prizm is a different animal than these detectors.

Please share your thoughts and advise as to which coil to get first.

P.S. If you have any used coils for sell, do let me know please!

Thanks

-Ken

I am thinking about getting the prizm 6T (comes with 9" spider coil) and the 6x4 DD with it. The smaller coil is supposed to be great on the prizm models for tot lots, sidewalks, and fence lines. The larger coils more for open less trashy places. These are fit my needs, yours may be totally different. HH CG

Default Thank you!

Thank you for the reply! I have aquired all of the coils for it, even a Bigfoot, but I still need a stock coil for it. I am hoping one will pop up used. Anyways, it's a great detector and the 6X4 works better on it than it does on the XL PRO, DFX or XLT! So yes, the 4x6 is a fabulous coil for this rig!

Thanks again -Ken

If you can Wang it, get a sharp shooter coil. 6 or 5" for the Tot lots.
