I did not vote? I agree with Joker I try to dig it all. Sometimes this may not be practial. One of my favorite finds this year rng in at an old penny/ dime range. I ended up with a very nice medallion attached to a silver chain. So just dif, Beale.

It's not even a serious consideration. Wheaties are nothing more than corroded copper. Silver always has been, and always will be worth money reguardless of condition.

I Voted! for silver, but figure if wheatbacks are showing up,then a real good chance that the search area will also have silver, just that the pennies where easier and many more of them to lose. When searching in sweeping patterns to cover an area, kinda like mowing the lawn with a weed eater, I might try to go over the area fairly quick for the best VDIs, and change sweep pattern to cross at right angles from first sweep pattern. Plus after cleaning out all the pennies, then slow the sweep way down and concentrate on signals missed the previous times. I'm always surprised how many times I can re-search a place and find something new.
