| Tesoro Vaquero The Tesoro Vaquero is a very versatile, all around detector, designed to do just about every kind of hunting you could want. With a 3 3/4 turn, manual ground balance, "HOT" (High Output Technology), and an ED180 "silent search" discriminator, a push button pinpoint, and a VCO style all metal mode, this detector at just under 2.2 pounds has "do anything power". |

I am wanting to get me a new detector and I am thinking about the Vaquero, I would like to get some feedback from Vaquero users to help me decide. I have had manual GB detectors before so not a problem there, Thank you for any help you can give me.

I use both the Vaquero and Tejon. I like them both. The Vaquero seems to do a little better for me in nails. The 5.75 coil really helps in trashy areas. The Vaquero seems to handle bad ground a little better than the tejon, The Tejon is just a little deeper. Both machines hit well on the low targets such as brass, and both are very deep..
