Default Excalibur hip mount

In the water the Excalibur II is not a problem. On land this thing gets heavy. Has anyone ever used the hip mount ?
I'm thinking about it but would like a few reviews first.

Thanks......

LMAO.....
I've been trying to do that for years and it just isn't going to happen.
I eat fatting food and I lose weight. Maybe I should eat diet food ....
Or I could use the Excalibur without the hip mount and have one really big arm.

I have used a belt, like a webbed belt with D rings. I just rig it onto the belt and that works great. cheap too.

look into getting a straight shaft , it improves the weight distribution and makes an excal easier to swing

I have done the hip belt, the chest mount, the stock shaft and the straight shaft.

I even made my own chest mount which was pretty cool.

When it came down to it, it was just more convenient to mount it on the straight shaft and damn the torpedoes.

I just ordered the hip mount from Kellyco. I had thought about it. I was / am worried about the cable maybe getting hung up on something.
I'll see how it goes and if need be maybe try the straight shaft later on.

One a side note I stopped by Lowry park on the way home today. Man they were packed with cars. A grass parking lot : )
I found a couple of fake ear rings there last week. Coins are easy to find there. Best part is I don't really have to dig deep.
I'll use my Garrett there. Had an employee stop and talk to me last time I was there. I showed him the little bit of trash I picked. And I few coins. He had a Radio Shack detector once. It broke the first day he used it.

Three days off coming up. Three days Hunting.........
