Is Private Messaging still disabled? I got emails notifying me of Private Messages - I went to read them and found I couldn't respond to any of them. I clicked on another link, went back to read my private messages again - and suddenly they are all gone. I don't even have the private message link at the top of my screen anymore.

Yeah - I saw your PM in my box initially...but by the time I went to read it I found it had been deleted. Have you still got PM'ing capabilities right now? I don't know why it would say I'm not accepting PM's - unless it's something to do with this new system going in?

Thank you, Greg...your assurances are much appreciated. I knew you were refurbishing the system but I seemed to have received PM's since then, so was just wondering if the system was back up and I couldn't figure out how to access it. Techno-genius I ain't LOL

I went to PM and there was no message there......I figured it was a spam or virus and did not use the link (to the story). I did use the link to TQ PM messages. I don't know if there is an Erin Pavlina on this site.......I put the message in a "save" file just in case.

This is what I got when I tried to send it:

riki727 has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her.

Remember there is a PM flood check system in vBulletin that requires x amount of time between sending PM messages. If you are sending multiple PM's, make sure you wait a few minutes before sending another. I believe the default is 60 seconds but it can be set to any number of seconds.
