Default fun fun tq hunt

would love to come and have fun, love pa and md, there are some places around Fredericksburg that have great value and some around Allentown, OilTown, up by Wilkes-barre- old oil town up there, lots of old property, owned by the oil refineries. Wish I knew specifics but haven't been there for long time. wish it were out in oregon lots of Oregon Trail stuff out here, old shipwrecks off the coast, still researching these things before I can get out. best to you all, good hunting and history finding

Thumbs up hunt at fair grounds

i will check to see if we can get ahunt going at our county fair grounds.
it has been held in the same spot since 1950's.
30,000 people drop alot of things. there is around 10 to 15 events here every year, and it does not get hunted much at all.
i live in garrett county, md.
i have never hunted with more than one partner. i would enjoy meeting you folks,
jeff

It would be nice if this could be turned into a "Convention/ Seminar" thing. Maybe have some lectures from you pros, demos from dealers and vendors and maybe a lecture from some historian.

Can't wait to hear when and where.

I'm as well interested perhaps expand it to a family event so those interested as well as uninterseted in MDing as well as children will have all something to do and places to go. I would be willing to help. By the way I reside in nj

I am a new member to the forum and my wife and I would be very interested. If you havent completly ruled out Virginia I know someone in Fredricksburg who might be willing to let us hunt 40 acres on which a Union camp was located.I hunted it four three hours and found an eagle I button an eagle button one nice gilt coin button another small coin button and several dropped 3 ringers.I also found several iron camp items. The owner hunted 15 minutes and found a nice US puppy paw but he has no interest in relic hunting.
