Default Stamps

JACK, I have collected stamps for about 50 years. The 2 cent Washington is worth about 45 cents post marked and the war stamp (defense) is worth about 60 cents post marked. Perhaps with the postcards also they would be worth more...depending on what the postcards depict....PAPPY

Default Postcards

TWO THINGS JACK...Both postcards were during the War period and both cards are of collectable interest. Each would be worth about $5.00-$6.00 each...PAPPY

Default Good Stamp ID site

Hi All,

I had not been to this site in a while but Jacks question made me go track it down. It's a great site to ID not only US stamps but foreign as well.

Stamp Collecting Supplies from Kenmore Stamp Company

It does take a little searching since they already presume that you know what you are looking for, but I found both of Jacks stamps in about 5 minutes of looking. The 2c Washington was from the 1922-1925 New Definitives set and the 1c liberty is from the 1940 Commemoratives.

Best they give their price for new and used. I used to buy a lot of my stamps from them when I was collecting back when I was younger and they always had very competitive prices. They came up a little under what Pappy quoted but as usual hes right in the ballpark
