Default TQ Attachment Manager

Uploading a picture is not too difficult but I will post this as a guide for people to follow for when they post their first pictures from their computer on TQ.

One of the most important things you need to do before you start a thread (that you want to insert pictures into) is to make sure you know where the picture is located on your computer. If you don’t know, this is the time to figure that out. Most people and digital camera programs store pictures in the "My Pictures" file of your computer.

Let’s start on the new thread page. You have written your post, now you want to put a picture in it.

First, scroll down the page to the area that reads "Manage Attachments" and click on the box.

Another box will open up with various empty boxes with the word "Browse" next to it.

Click on the "Browse" button on the top box and now you will need to show where your picture file is located. Once you have located the picture on your computer, click on it and then click on the "Open" box in the lower right side of the window.

This will return you to the Manage Attachments screen. The location where the TQ computer can find your picture is now written in the box. You now have the option to select and add more pictures to your post by clicking on the "Browse" button next to the next empty box.

Once you have selected all the pictures you want to post in your thread, click on the "Upload" command button at the bottom of the "Browse" buttons.

Your computer will now begin to send a copy of your picture to the TQ computer to display in your note.

Now all you have to do is wait for the picture to upload which can take a little time or a lot of time, depending on your connection speed.

When the file(s) are done uploading, the Browse box where your picture location was listed will be blank and just above the section titled Attachment Key should be a file listed (or various files) of the images you are going to attach to your thread. If the files are there, go ahead and simply close that window.

Now you are back to the New Thread page and right there in the Manage Attachment box are the image file(s) that you added.

If you want to see what the thread will look like before you post it, click on the "Preview Post" button. The Thread will now go intro preview mode.
If all is well, click "Submit Post" and you are all set! Congratulations!
