Cool Tesoro -vs- Whites MTX

I am considering the Tejon or the MTX and am wondering what the pros of relic hunting and coin hunting would be with both. Of course the Tejon is less expensive and I hear nothing but great things about it but I am concerned with the constant ground balancing as well as the fact that the MXT will tell you what is there before you get it even to the point of saying buckle bullet etc. The Tejon on the other hand is supposed to be a deeper detecting machine? I will not only relic hunt but do some coin hunting as well. Another question would be how much deeper would the Tejon detect on average related to relics than the MXT?Has anyone had experiences with both side by side? Tony from TC Metal Detectors seems to think that the Tejon is far and away the best thing for relics and he seems like a great guy and really knowledgeable about the topic. I probably will buy whatever I get from him. What does everyone think? TIA

Baker, the Tejon is my choice and I don't think you will regret getting one. Tony will fix you up and you will be proud of your finds. Best regards and God's Blessings to you.

Hi Tony, how are you doing? CU later and God Bless ya my friend.
