Question Which Tesoro????

Ok, I have decided to give Tesoro Detectors a try. I hear they are good and have good depth. Currently I own a Whites Eagle Spectrum, Minelab Soverign Elite, Whites Surfmaster, Garrett Ace 250, and a Whites coinmaster 5500D. I need help in deciding on which of the 2. A Tejon, or a Cortez. I like the mode switch on the Tejon, my Whites detectors have a switch and is very useful. But I like to get an idea on the depth of a target. I want to get a way from the target ID thing. I think it is causing me to ignore too many targets. You know lazy, don't want to dig it unless it is a good target with out a doubt.
Ok, TQ sponsers convence me. Price too.
Thanks LR

Default Hello LR...

...I don't know about convincing you, but my choice between the two would definitely be the Tejon! Considerable more depth, excellent DUAL ED180 discriminator circuitry, excellent manual ground balance capability, and no Target ID to CONFUSE you!

With the dual discriminators, you have the ability, quickly, to NOTCH out or in, the targets you don't or do (respectively) want. Of course the trigger switch is more than convenient, allowing you quick access to Disciminator #1 or Discriminator #2, and All Metal PinPoint mode with just the flick of the switch!

It is now against Forum Rules for the Sponsors to post pricing in their posts, so I will PM you Treasure Hut's price to you.

You are making a wise decision to go with a Tesoro, I've been hunting with them for more than 25 years...with absolutely ZERO complaints! The company is fantastic, and they provide the fastest and best Customer Service I have yet seen in any manufacturer!

Thanks for your inquiry.....Chuck

Depends on whether or not you want target ID or not or coinshoot more than relic hunt. Both will find the coins but the Tejon is a better relic hunter. The Cortes is a better coinhunter with the target ID numbers. Either way you will get a great detector.

Hey John. I'm OK but my wife had a heart attack yesterday morning. She is stable at the moment but it been kind of busy and scary around here the last couple of days. Lots of running around and waiting you know ? Take care of yourself.
