Default Posting Here

I read and post in 4 metal detecting forums. I have been checking the TQ Tesoro forum daily since I found the site several months ago. I have been surprised by how few posts have been added here since then. I really like the TQ forum overall, but I am starting to wonder if there are many Tesoro users here. I really hope that this forum can become a little more utilized.

Good Detecting!!

I am sure there are many Tesoro users on this Forum but they probably just post in the general sections for all to read.

Hi Corteser, Tesoro is a fine business company and has a fantastic lineup. I have been using the Tejon with the 575 HOT coil and it is a great combo!!! Tesoro has a real winner in the 575 HOT coil. It is very sensitive since it is a smaller coil. The sweet spot is even marked for you on top of the coil. I take it you are a Cortes user? I wonder how long you have had it and what you think of it? Ok God Bless and CU later Coteser!

Hi Corteser,

I have a Cibola that I use as a back-up and for treasure hunts (Tesoro is what I see the most at the hunts). Great little detector, can easily swing it all day without fatigue.

Ya Gotta Love your Tesoro. I've been coming here to these parts of the forum but as you said, it seems like noone post here. As the others say, I also think that most post on the general forum and may not realize what is here. It could be also they may think they are double posting and don't realize they could get more specific answers from specific sites Oorrrr like yourself, see that no-one else is posting so why should they. I will post a new thread in General Disscussions on this and maybe that will help.

Default I use a

Tesoro silver umax with the 12 inch spoked coil. Really easy to use. Got it as a backup.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their posts. It looks like there are a number of happy Tesoro users here. I've been using my Cortes all summer and really like it. I started with the Ace 250 and had good luck with it but the Cortes is heads and tails better. Pinpointing is dead on and I can swing it all day if I wish. I was looking to buy a new coil or two but I have decided to wait and see the new detector that Tesoro is reportedly coming out with.

Good Hunting!!

Corteser I use Tesoro. Only my Inca and Golden Sabre 2 are a bit out of date. Since most of the areas under Tesoro are for newer models that sorta leaves mine out.

i use the tesoro vaquero, with the 5.75 hot coil. it's great.......
i think most tesoro users are out using them , rather than writing about them!
besides, we use up all our spare time posting pic. of what we find, so have no time to write about them.......... george
