Default Tesoro Vaquero

got a new vaquero today ground balancing was very easy to
learn but i've got a couple of questions for the learning curve.
after GB the machine I set the discriminator knob to my
prefered setting where should the treshold be set and what
does it change in the machine? does this make it more senistive
affect depth?

Hi Len, Oh boy your really going to enjoy the Vaquero. It is a coin magnet. You will need to set the Thresh to where it is just audible but not too light. If it is a bit warbly then set it until it is steady. What you are doing is setting a reference point to Ground Balance to. And your right it establishes the minimum sound level in the discriminate mode for hearing those deep targets. Ok I hope this is helpful and God Bless, happy hunting too.
