Hello all, this is my first post here. I recently bought a Cibola off Ebay for my wife. When I do an air test the most "depth" I can get is about 7" no matter how I tune it. This is on silver, nickel, and copper coins (not clad). My Tejon airtests WAY deeper. I can't test in the ground due to frozen conditions. If this is normal ok, if not I don't mind paying to get it fixed, the machine is in mint condition. Any ideas?

Thanks for the quick resonse guys. While I'm not much of a beach hunter I think I'll try the Cibola at the beach tommorow as its the only non frozen ground remotely near me. If I don't like it, back on Ebay it goes and I'll have to teach the wife how to turn knobs! I been thinking of a Nautilus IIba as a back up anyway! Thanks again.
