Tesoro Silver uMAX The Tesoro Silver uMax, like the original Silver Sabre is a turn on and go metal detector, with microprocessor controlled audio, automatic ground balance, Silent Search Discrimination. and an All Metal Mode. A no frills, strong, silent and simple to operate metal detector.

Default Silver uMax question

Hello:

You all have my attention.
I want to try the Tesoro but not sure which one to get.
I see the silver saber II used for $144.00
but I also see the Silver uMax used for $178.00
Also I see the SIlvr Saber uMax for $194.00.

WHAT TO DO?

Regards
Robert R

Hey Woodturner. If you are in Eastern Va the soil can be an issue. That white clay is no fun at all. I would for sure try John's suggestions. I grew up in Southampton County Va. The soil in that area can vary so much so quick.

Good luck with the hunting, Beale.

One thing about the clay is that it seems to keep the stuff from going deeper than the clay layer.

Man I'm gone for a day and look what happens!

Tin, you're right about different recovery rates for different hospitals. In fact, I've given my wife some standing orders about a couple of them: DON'T LET THEM TAKE ME THERE! As a chaplain, I've seen a few that were down right scary. Talk about bad recovery rates.....

Later.....

Red face might be an embarrassin' question

I've done this before-so maybe someone else has. Is your switch on all metal? It doesn't matter how high you turn up the disc., it will always beep on iron. I sure was diggin' alot until I noticed!
