I agree with what everyone has said. I am new to the forum and Tinman has that special way to make a person really feel at home. He always has a word of encouragement or a funny antidote to share.

MD'ing is roaming around searching high and low for treasure. I think we have found one of the most valuable treasures here in this forum in Tinman.

Hey Tinman I want you to know that I feel the same way as everybody else!! You always take time to help everybody, write some cool poems, and are a very giving person. I am proud to include you as my good friend, Beale.

Wink Do You REALLY Think TINMAN is All That?

In reading the posts that precede this one I have to say that he's one very special person that has brought a smile to my face, a laugh to my belly and a tear to my eye on more occassions then I can count.(well maybe with my shoes off)
For a guy who's not supposed to have a heart, you're All Heart, Mate!

Three Cheers to You,

BDA

Oh Tinman, Oh Tinny
Friend, you are the best
Always helping others
Here at Treasure Quest.

You're a poet and a pirate
And you love to dig in dirt,
But when someone is in need
You always give comfort.

So, the next time you visit
The Wizard in Oz,
Make sure to tell him
That you cause many Aaaaawwws!

We love you Tinny

Default Just Don't Know What To Say !!!

I will start with a line from The Great Lou Gherigs Farewell Speech to Baseball... Today, I Feel Like the Luckiest Man on Earth !!! I am at a Total loss for the Right words to say anything that would Even come close to expressing the Emotions that I have been feeling since 3 am this morning when I first read this. THANK YOU sounds so Trivial at this moment. WOW !!!!! This is like being inducted into the Hall of Fame... ( I never took those Steroids ) Gregory, What can I say to You except ... Are Ya sure your not wearin that Yankee cap to tight as There are others I think far more deserving than Me . Thank You so Very Very Much and Not just for this Honor but for This place I Call Home = TQ ! It has filled a Void in my life that no one will be able to understand until They get to know the Roller coaster ride of my life. If I had My way.. You would be the 1rst one in there as to what you have given everyone with TQ as It will Go On and On always being a Great Place for Detectorist to have To Learn and to help others learn about this Great Hobby, A place where they can share Ideas, Experiences, Wisdom, Philosophy's, Their Finds..Big & Small, other Talents, Laughter & Tears and Sooooo Much More !! All The Moderators and those behind the Scenes That Cradle this site Like a New Baby... Thank You !!! All the MEMBERS..My Friends, My Family... I Love You All because You's Are The BEST and have allowed me not only to share this site with you's but have taken me into your Hearts as well. Thank You, Thank You ALL So Very, Very Much !!!!!!!!
This Truly is one of the Greatest and Proudest moments of My Life ! The only thing that could have been this Great is if I would have died and was looking down to see how everyone was doing and saw a little TINMAN character posted someplace with the words underneath it that read " Theres No Place Like Home !! AND This is My Home !!!
GOD BLESS Each and Everyone of YOU!!!!!!
