I voted yes because looking at his signature, I feel that he does and have no reservations on this at all!

Just a question though, what will the winner receive? Cash or still a gift certificate? If a gift certificate, I guess there could still be a delay in the winner receiving it in case of sickness or other unforeseen circumstances?

A gift Certificate is what is awarded.

We tried it with specific prizes early on but that didn't work as well. A lot of work trying to get a final head-count and the price to pay, accumulating the money. We learned and the GB is still evolving.

This SW will (IMHO) improve the process. It will make it happen on a consistently timely basis. The only delay would be in the transferral of the funds to the sponsor. No doubt, there will be some thought given to that as well.

But, it has gotten better with time and the process will continue to improve.

I've only been here a short while, but Gregory strikes me as a man of integrity,I would trust him with my $10.I think he should be able to participate,I would not have any qualms with him putting the names into a hat,and drawing oneI know he'd do it honestly
Just my $.02

It's a yes from me. I think Greg should be allowed to participate in the group buys and why not....he does such a great job with the site and puts so much into it he should be allowed to reap the benefit of the group buy as well. I imagine that the software could help as well and would definately speed things up a bit. Sure there was a delay with last months winner but understandably so and the delay didn't seem that bad. Who knows....maybe we should try the software and see what people think.
