Now I don't mean to rain on anyones parade and I wholeheartedly supprt our troops but releasing those balloons is totally irresponsible. Its polluting. What happens when those 25000 balloons come down?? If by chance they make it up high enough to get to the jet stream they could make it to the ocean where they could be mistaken for jellyfish. Sea turtles, dolphins, whales, fish and seabirds have been reported with balloons in their stomachs. I found balloons from New York in the Virginia portion of the Chesapeake Bay last summer.
