Default jason from upstate ny

Hello everyone. I'm just checking out this cool new forum and I notice that there is no "find a TH'ing partner" section. Well hopefully we'll see one soon. If there is anyone in here from new york that's interested in researching and treasure hunting and maybe even donating relics to a small town local musuem then tack a line on this thread or drop me an e-mail. Maybe we can work something out. I'm trying to get into cache hunting but I got my start by beach hunting local beaches. I love the sport and the fresh air it brings, there's nothing in the world like metal detecting. Jason

Hey Jason,

Yea, we have a Treasure Pal page here. Go ahead and do a search to see if someone lives in your area

Jason,
Welcome aboard! Lots of great stuff here.
There is a section already here for locating potential hunting partners. Click on "Community" at the top of the page. Look for the "Treasure Pals" section.

Ed

Default Yeah I feel silly now

I found the treasure pal page after I posted this. I'm not to far from east greenbush. I live just outside of amsterdam. Maybe sometime this spring or summer I'll find a spot to go and we can set up a day to go and see if you can catch a bus to amsterdam and we can go from there. Maybe do a overnight camping TH'ing adventure. Can you hike or just looking for a quick treasure fix? Most of the places I'm hoping to get into are just off the road. Or maybe hit a beach before they open for summer. Let me know what you think. I'll be back on tommorrow night. Jason

No problem Rob I can wait. I ain't goin' no where's fast. I've never gotten treasure hunting itchies from poison ivy but I've gotten scratched up and poked at by thistles and devils pitchforks a few times. Jason
