Yep, its a lot of fun. You learn pretty quick how to be handy with an axe. Those wagon wheels belong to the neighbors. They are practically an landmark here in Dinwiddie county. You can give someone directions and ask if they know the house with a metal wagon wheel fence and they know exactly where you are.

I miss the exercise but I don't miss the mess! We switched over to a pellet stove three years ago and I love it! Less mess, no more shoveling out the fireplace. Just vacuum up the ashes every other week or so and no more black widows coming in with the fire wood! Just dump a 40 lb bag of pellets or corn in the hopper and its good for the whole day if not longer. We heat about 90% of the house with it.

Let off steam?
Hello,
I just had to reply. This is my first reply to this forum actually. I let off steam from my other hobby. Which is homebrewing. I started homebrewing beer 2 years ago. Nothing like making your own beer, and cheaper too. Now with Metal Detecting, i can have a homebrew while cleaning my finds lol. Who knows, maybe that clad will come out better soaking in homebrew? It's an idea lol. XLTKID
