Default Hi Y'all !

Sounds like an OKIE , Dont it ? Well, I live in Dewey Oklahoma right next to Bartlesville, Oklahoma , home of Phillips Petrolium Co. This town has quit a history and ALOT of areas to swing the coil at !! I have been detecting for 5 years and have a Spectrum XLT (Whites) medal detector! It took me awhile to get the operations of the XLT to where I can pretty well adjust for the areas that I hunt and have done pretty well with it so far ! I think it is in the research that one does to get the OLDIES BUT GOODIES in your pouch !!! PLENTY of OLD houses here and abandoned farm houses are plentyfull here !!! I have posted on this forum for a little while and thought I would say HI!!!! HAPPY HUNTING ! KENNETH

Default Relic Mode ?

I talked with Jim , A fellow that is running the show while Jimmy Sierra is on vacation ( Jimmy Sierra is the ( Whites Electronics Dealer West Coast) !! Jim told me to use the Relic mode on my XLT to hunt for silver deposits the same way that gold deposits are found with the Spectrum XLT !! I got a chance to hunt for silver on my parents propety up in Pitkin,Colorado this summer !!! How many of you use the Spectrum XLT for Electronic Prospecting ? And have ya had any luck? It will be my first time Electronic Prospecting!! I thank you all for welcoming me to this forum ad I wish I could post pictures of my finds but I am on WEBTV so I guess I will just have ta tell ya about my finds ! For those of you that can post pictures, DO SO !!! I enjoy seeing what other detectorist have found ! I sometimes wish I lived in the Southern states around Civil War battle sites because the pictures that are posted of detectorists finds make me want to pack up my detector and go find that belt buckle, buttons, etc. !!!!!! But I have a terminally Ill child at home with a rare bone disease so traveling is just a dream for now !!! HAPPY HUNTING! KENNETH
