Default thanks

thanks for the great welcomeing mat and im sure you will be hearing alot for me,cause i have many treasure and detecting intrest and questions. it doesnt matter how long you have been doing it , you can always learn something new. someone alway has a better way of doing something thats why they have patents. my main interest lies in hunting old sites with dowsing ,and then using metal detector pinpointing the coin/coins,or artifact im looking for. i put a lot of trust in dowsing , and hope others will try it before they call the idea a hokes.i live in raleigh ,nc, which has a history of pre-civil war homes, and the finds around are great in this area.i wqtch the ground all the time ,even without the detector. made some great finds that way.im 52 and watch the ground one dime at a time. got to run, catbird

Hi Don, seems you have a great interest and a lot of nice places to hunt. Never dowsed anything but an ex girlfriend but love detecting. We all learn from each other and i live in a very urban area and if i tried dowsing i'd probably find every sewer line in Delaware. Glad your here and nice to meet ya . HH Bill

Default catbird

well you want believe this, but here goes. when i was a baby, and getting to the age of putting words together, we had a cat and a parakett, and one day i happened to let the bird out of the cage and the rest is history. the bird got out , the cat got the bird, and i went crying to mama, she was cooking dinner, "CATBIRD,CATBIRD", and the nick name has stuck ever since. that belt stuck to my hinney for a while to. got to run, catbird
