Finally got around to posting a message as an answer to this forum about digging school yards and couldn't beleive that it tagged me as a little digger. Is that because of new membership?
Haven't been little anything since I quit smoking 17 years ago.
I also been metal detecting since the 80s. Both coins and Civil War stuff....My wife started about the same time.

And yes, Roony... Little Digger means you haven't posted very many posts yet. I know some old codgers out there that are members but never have posted anything!! I look forward to seeing your postings in here along with some of the others,, What has been your most exciting find to date? This goes for Nancy and Catbird as well.. What better way to break the ice so to speak!! Mine is a pair of old Naval Crow Wings.. Least the best that I can recall. That or the old Kelly Plowworks knife me and my son found.
