Default Jamestown,Pa area {N.W. Pa.}

Hello all,
I'm so new I don't have a detector yet!
I'm buying a Whites XLT from Erie next week.
Looking forward to detecting my yard. My house was deeded from the bank in 1878 but there was a structure here back in 1873.
Thanks for reading and will let you know how the searching goes.

Del

Default Welcome Del !!!!!

Welcome to the GREAT HOBBY of medal detecting Del !!! I have been detecting for about 6 years now and have a Spectrum XLT !! When purchasing any medal detector MAKE SURE ya read the manual as many times as possible so you will understand what it is telling you! I have had my Spectrum XLT for over 4 years now and have purchased MANY books written by the pros and they have been of great help in finding those deep OLDER finds and what to look and listen for with my Spectrum XLT and suggested areas I should search !! Just one coin that I have found paid for my Spectrum XLT !!! Just dont give up !!! The GOODIES will come !! Ya just gotta be persistant and DONT be shy about asking home owners to hunt on their property !!!! GOOD LUCK DEL & HAPPY HUNTINHG !!!! KENNETH HUDDLESTON
