Hi everyone!
I've been detecting for about 32 years. I finally decided to join the Forum after having my arm twisted by Free2Dtect.
I met Free in his hometown of LaCrosse, WI. a couple years ago at a similer site.
My interests are detecting for old coins.
I currently use an older Fisher CZ6 and 3 Garrett Freedom II's. (Not all at the same time though).
I go by the name "Scratch" because of my reputation to destroy nice coins with my digging tool. (See attached photo).
Hopefully, I can provide some tips and advice to some of the people new to the hobby, and also hope to learn a few things too. I'll try not to give any advice on pinpointing either.

Hello and Welcome to the Forum Scratch! I've hit my fair share of relics myself!!!!! Really to many to mention!! It seems I do it more often when the ground is wet and I have my sensitivity too high! Somedays I hit my best find and nothing else....go figure!! I still enjoy a good dig! Presently caught up in yard work and spring fishing!
