New, looking for groups to MD with

Hi, Just joined the site, but have been detecting for a few years. No big finds to brag on. However have studied local history intensively for several years and have info to offer. Toadie, noticed you could be my neighbor. I am also near Lone Oak, Tx. Wondering if "locals" get together and dig. In case you all are wondering Lone Oak is outside of Greenville Tx. Would like to schedule or participate in "group" digs or meet to share info, NEARBY.
Also, any of you locals hunt up near the North or South Sulphur River? Anyone happen to know the latest on goings on with the proposed resovoir there? The thought that all this good hunting ground could be underwater makes me sick. Thanks
