Hi Jeff,
I have a buddy that lives near Knoxville. Hope you make some cool finds with your Bounty Hunter. I have a BH Fast Tracker but used to have a BH Pioneer 505. I've heard that BH's like to be swung fast. I think it's true. pass a coin over your coil, just out of range, slowly, now, sharply, and you'l get a signal. Good Hunting and Welcome to TQ.
