A Pirate was standing on the wharf gazing out to sea when a landlubber approached him and looked him up and down. He was a grizzled old pirate with a peg leg, a hook and a patch over one eye.
The landlubber finally asked the question "What happened to your leg, Sir?"
"Bit off by a Shark" was the pirate's curt reply.
"Did the Shark bite off your hand too?" asked the Landlubber.
"No" said the Pirate "I lost it in a skirmish with a bunch of naval marines, I killed all four of them with my cutlass but lost my hand to the last marine's cutlass".
"I suppose that you lost the eye in the same fight?" inquired the landlubber.
"No" said the Pirate " I was looking up at the crowsnest and a seagull shat in me eye".
"Incredible" exclaimed the landlubber "You lost your leg to a man eating shark, your hand to a sword fight with 4 marines but you lost your eye to just a little bit of bird poop?"
"Well it was my first day with the hook" replied the Pirate.

Wonder what else he learned the hard way that first day !
Saraqa, No eye patch required BUt if ya let us cut your hand off and fit ya with a Hook it will make us feel like we know ya better and give us somethin to do while waitin for the hunt to begin
Been goin over my clues and bda I think I may have 1 or 2 that may even give ya reason to run me through. I'm tellin ya now Me Hardee's... don't be thinkin there will be ANY WELL KNOW FACTS or Familiar TUNES or Famous Characters. Your Really gonna have to work Hard for these. The ol Catp. TIN May just toss Ya a bone or two but only If I se the Right Pirate spirit an Ship. May even be a Clue from an Old National Geographic isssue A REALLY OLD ISSUE ......Then again, Maybe Not .
OK... How about a warm up Pre Voyage question... Just to get the taste of blood in the air. Here goes...
There was a certain Capt. who in his articles for punishment had a certain Law for these 2 infractions... For Striking another crew member for Smoking a Pipe without a Cap on it or Carrying a Candle without Lantern in the hold This Punishment would be handed out.. Who was The Capt.
? What was the name of the Law for these Infractions and What was the Punishment ?
HINT to The Capt. Name...You will be lookin for one of these when you really must go and if you drank this milk you may have avoided going.
THIS IS JUST A WARM UP TO THE HUNT QUESTION !!!! THE HUNT HAS NOT STARTED YET !!!!!!
