Thanks, Tinny!!! If you're in the neighborhood May of next year, please let me know. We'd love to have you there. You are family, after all.

We're engaged (first time I've said anything publicly on here) to be married on May 9th 2009 and are planning on going to Palau for our honeymoon the following year in January. We're going to be scuba certified next summer and are really looking forward to swimmin' with the sharks.

This July we celebrate our 11th year together and are going to drive a small portion of Route 66 from Southern CA to the Grand Canyon, then on to the petrified forest. We're pretty excited about this trip, too.

Life should most definitely be lived and not dreamt. It's never too late to realize this. Never too late to start.
Awesome news Edie, you know you're my homegirl & I'm very happy for you both, congrats to you & Noelle, you will love Palau, I was stationed in Guam for 15 months when I was in the Air Force & loved it, I got certified to dive there, you wouldn't believe how beautiful it is, congrats-congrats-congrats----

Thanks so much, 'E'. Noelle's brother lives on Guam with his family. Noelle has been to Guam a few times, but I haven't, yet. I think we'll be staying there for 2 or 3 days either on our way to Palau or on our way back. Either way, we're both so excited we can taste it. I got a book on Palau written by a guy who spent a couple of months there doing research. Noelle and I both are really into cultural tourism more than just seeing the Americanized parts of exotic places. I've been reading up on some of the local stuff. I can't wait to go to their museum and see the storyboards. Maybe even buy one from one of the local artisans. I can't wait to get there.
