Default CANADIAN needs DFX Super 12 Coil Cover..

I hope this post is appropriate for the classified section;
Here's my situation...
Recently purchased a used Whites DFX with lots of accessories including three coils. Two have coil covers, but the Super 12 coil doesn't have one. So... I looked at some Canadian distributors for Whites products and all of them were just general 'hobby' type stores that carry some detectors, but don't specialize in them and carried little in the way of accessories. I also thought of purchasing directly through White's website and went through the on-line process. When I got to the checkout portion, I couldn't believe the shipping costs.. Around $40 for basic USPS!!! What a dissapointment.

I've done lots of on-line shopping from the USA and know that Shipping between our two countries doesn't cost anymore than domestic shipping.
An example... Bought a Sniper Coil cover for my Ace 250 and it cost the Michigan shipper $1 to post it here to British Columbia in a small envelope.

Can any of the fine sponsors (or other TQ members), on this site sell me one at a Reasonable shipping cost? I've learned that extra duties and taxes don't apply on items valued at, or under $20 (which this item is) so it shouldn't cost me anymore than buying it locally.. which I can't!!

If anyone can assist, please provide the cost, including shipping to postal code V0T 1S0. Thanks!!

Why don't you give White's a call. Let them know that you use their machine and may continue to use White's machine, but if their shipping is going to be so much more that actual costs, you'd hate to see the cost if a repair was ever needed.

I think you may be able to reason with them. Do your homework and find the cost to ship from White's zipcode to your address (USPS - The United States Postal Service (U.S. Postal Service)) and expect reasonable shipping and handling charges.

Good luck!

You can always give Kellyco a try. If you're at your whits end, it can't hurt to call... I'm sure we have it, but I couldn't begin to guess at shipping costs. As always, it's toll free to call. 1.800.898.6673 or 1.800.327.9697 - Goodluck!

So far I've found one very old license plate, a lot of nails, some funky green pennies and other misc. change.. but who's counting? I'm just here to have fun, giggle, and make friends along the way!
