Can you give us any info on the rings or have you ever had them appraised. They look very nice. JC

Default Antique Sterling Salt & Pepper Shakers

If you are not interested in trading the rings for the antique silver salt and pepper shakers, I also have a heavy pair of large decorative ram candleholders. If you are a fisherman I have top quality inshore spinning outfits. I spent three hours silver polishing the shakers which are engraved on the bottom "Garden Silversmiths Ltd. Sterling Weighted. They appear to be very old and used daily. The underside of both
have many small dents. The top of the salt shaker has some dents in the
turn on top as though the humidity made it hard to get the salt out. The
2 5/8" stems of both shakers appear in excellent condition while the turn on
top of the pepper shaker is also in excellent condition. They are 4" tall & the
bottoms are 1 7/8" in diameter. They were badly tarnished and along with the dents I believe they date to about 1850, but I have no way of knowing for
sure. If interested in trading for the rings I can send photos. You can email syngerm@bellsouth.net
