Newsletter for April
Folks, I do apologize for the major delay in the newsletter these past couple of months. I had a major problem that sort of kept me away for a while. You see, there was a powerpole with a transformer leaning towards my place of residence and I never thought much of it until Mid Feb. and we heard an explosion in the middle of the night. To make a long story short, it fell, took out my little office and my computer along with it. I finally got the settlement check from the insurance company and got me a Dell. I still have my Gateway, but it is melted in spots. The harddrive didn't work anymore but the motherboard seems okay so far.
Anyways, I lost everything I had for our newsletter (I didn't think to make extra back ups) when the electrical fire got to my restore discs. Now since the insurance company has paid a little bit of what we lost, Crystal informed me that I have to sell off some of my coins to finish rebuilding. I swear I will have you some sort of newsletter in the next four or five days and a good issue for next month. I do apologize for this major set back. I hope you all understand and look forward to seeing ya'll in the forums. James

James, have you talked with the power co. to see if they would pay for the damages caused by their negligence of not keeping their equipment in a safe and reliable manner. I worked for a power co 38 yrs, retired now, and if something like that happened here they would have been responsible. If you get no response from them, write your utilities commision, They usually will see that these matters are taken care of. The power co's do not like being got on by the commisions.
