As those of us who attended a recent national relic hunt know, these batteries are awesome performers in a metal detector. Panasonic claims double the battery life over the alkalines we currently use, but at the same prices we are used to paying. The OxyRides have a shelf life of 5 to 7 years according to Panasonic!!! We both used them at the GNRS hunt last month and they are great. The longest life battery I have ever used.
A new set of alkaline batteries register 12 in my MXT, when I replaced them with the Oxyrides I got a battery reading of 13. I also tried them in my Tesoro Tejon and got 7 beeps. |
