Default What is your oldest?

What is your oldest coin? My current oldest one is a 1939 Canadian penny. Oh and I would like to know what is the oldest coin you have that you did not buy from someone. I have nothing against buying coins. I am just curious and to what people have.

Default I found a

1878 seated liberty quarter in a construction site where condos are being built. I had ANACS grade it and it came back "EF 40" which is Extra fine and worth about $60.00.

1826 British Large Penny but I'm holding out for a Gold Escaudo, 1500' or 1600's, it doesn't matter to me. I've got to get that gold coin check off of my list.

Cheers,

BDA

I was looking at some pictures online yesterday and I think it was the v nickel I was looking at and I really would love to find one of those. I have an area picked out for this summer that I think will have a good chance at producing some older coins. I hope it turns out good. However this park is so big it will take all summer to cover like half of it.
