My Thoughts on Being a Member of TQ

I would say from the first day I landed on this site, I knew something was different here. I have frequented many boards but never had been on one quite like this one. I spent alot of time reading post from each of you before I decided to join in. You made me feel so comfortable starting with my first post, "Introducing Myself". Each morning I read the new post, some during work and I fall asleep at night with the Laptop on my lap while I am reading the TQ Board. I am not just addicted to the sport of MD, I am addicted to the TQ Board itself. I miss some post and wonder how you all seem to answer them all when I can't seem to find them all.... but I answer as many as I can. You all are truly some special people.. very generous and caring about one another and I count it a blessing to count you as my friends!

Thanks so much for a wonderful place to hang out! The Southern Hospitality is felt here very deeply. You sure you all aren't from the South?

Shawn is my FRIEND. I have built several friendships on TQ, which is very cool. Let me tell you why. I work with about 45 people and only call about 4 of them my friends. I have more friends on TQ and know that if I met y'all in real life it would be a fantastic time.

Let me also tell you this. Before Noelle and I took the drive to meet Shawn and Peg, I had been forging a friendship with Shawn here on TQ. As you all know he's a rascally man and very kind. He can make anyone laugh!!! I think he's either RIP's or The Tinman's brother. hehe
When we finally arrived in Oxnard (we got lost for 2 hours with traffic. should have only been a 2 hour journey ) I was so happy to finally meet Shawn that we talked for 30 minutes before we begrudgingly decided to hunt on the beach. He's the kind of guy that you wish was your neighbor. Genuinely kind and generous and Peg is perfect for him They're both a hoot.

So, what I'm trying to say is that Shawn is a great representaion of TQ as a whole. Good values with a great sense of humor. I might add that he's a tad sneaky so watch out for him
