3 years ago I was a member of 4 other forums. They were all large and I felt overwhelmed by their size and activity level. I was a newbie and would post questions and, in many cases, did not receive a response.

I had responses that made me feel stupid and unwanted so I decided to look for something better. To find a site that was friendly and that welcomed new people to the hobby.

I stumbled across TQ and began to read the posts. The people were friendly and they answered the new people's questions with a genuine smile, not just a smilie.

It was love at first site!

I believed in the concepts behind TQ and I saw that not only were these talked about, they were actually happening!

That was exactly what I was searching for. Quality instead of quantity.

I began to participate here and slowly my participation in the other forums began to decrease to the point where I don't even visit them any more.

I have all I want in a forum right here. A sense of community, a bunch of friends and a place where new people to the hobby are as welcome and valued as those who have been hunting for decades.

TQ has stoked my passion for this hobby and inspired me to try to infuse others with this passion and give something back to the members of this extended family of mine.

I am proud to be a member here and I am proud of what TQ has become, thanks to the efforts of its members who have made it into the unique website it is today.
