Default Thanks to all of you here at TQ.

I had one heck of a time trying to decide what MD to get. I was sold on an fisher f4 or 75 then a whites DFX or XLT then a Minelab X-terra 70. I have been up a many late night reading the forums trying to make a decision. Finally I read that there are MD videos on youtube. I saw the one from Minelab on the X-terra 70 and it had made up my mind for me. I will be buying an X-terra 70 at the end of the month. I just wanted to thank all of you wonderful people here. With out you Id still be arguing with myself. Anyone who doesn't do any research before getting into this hobby will be very lost. I have learned a lot just by reading the TQ and I don't even have a MD yet. Thank you all again.
Mike

Hello,
Like you, i do not have my own detector yet. But i came here to read, research etc. Glad i did too, i have learned a lot. I was afraid to post because i didn't have a detector, but that was silly. Like the saying goes, there are no dumb questions, it's only dumb not to ask.

I had decided a while back to get the Whites XLT, it has been my dream for a long time and gonna stick to it. Have heard nothing but great things on it. And the XLT will be mine, SOON! Glad you came here and got help and advice. This is the BEST place to be. Good Luck.

Welcome Bigmike
Like you I couldn't make up my mind. There are a lot of great MD's for the money out there. I had a lot of questions and the great people here at TQ helped me out with everyone of them. I finally bought the Fisher F4 and it is a great machine. The operator is still learning but getting better. The first thing I learned was to change into my tennis shoes when I get home from work when I go out to do some hunting. The steel toed boots can really get thet double D coil confused. Enjoy your new X T70 and good luck on your hunts.
