Default What it's like to have neighbors

When I was growing up, neighbors looked out for one another, and helped each other out in times of need. It was customary, and expected, to take home-made foods to those who were sick, or had lost loved ones, knowing that those deeds would probably be returned one day. Everyone looked out for one another. If someone needed help harvesting their crops, the neighbors were there. Nowadays, we don't know our neighbors, as the "old folks" who relished these traditions are mostly gone. Young folks are in a "fast-paced" world, and don't have time for those old-fashioned customs. I'm guilty of that myself. We are all going too fast to carry on those good old traditions. Now, let me get to my point(sorry).......................TQ IS THE NEXT BEST THING!!!!!!!!

well put...it would be nice if it were still like that these days but it probably will never be. people just aren't like that anymore, unless there is a tragedy and then maybe still not as much. TQ is an oasis.
