Default Eclipse Shooter DD 4x6 Starter info req.

Does anyone have any experience with the Eclipse Shooter by Whites on a DFX? I am probably getting ahead of myself by buying this coil as I have only been using my DFX for a couple of months. I was finding SO MUCH material that I thought that the smaller head would let me find more coins and less junk. However being that I am new with the DFX, I have yet to dabble with any settings other than the presets. I live in upstate NY and typically look for coins on fresh water beaches and all of the other typical hunting spots like old schools, yards and sports fields. Thanks for your time and happy hunting

I use mine in areas with lots of trash and it works just fine.
So far I haven't needed to use any settings other than the presets.
It will make searching a large area much slower, due to its size.

But when I find to many older pop-tabs it is the one I use, because it works very well in separating the trash from the coins.

Default Thanks again Boobie

It sure is nice of you guys to answer all of our questions, especially since you've probably answered them more than once before for someone else. Your expertise is appreciated.

My dad told me

"you can always learn something from anybody."

All you have to do is ask the question then listen to their answer.

On here anyone from the newest to the oldest person will have something to pass on to someone else.

That is what makes T.Q. so GREAT.

Default Amen

Amen to what boobie said. plus i want to add.

I have been to other forums where there is a lot of competition not just between forums but between members of the same forums. none of that here. maybe a lil jovial fun between friends diggin together but for the most part we want EVERYONE TO SUCCEED. i want you to find as much treasure as i want to find myself. and i know these good folx are rootin for me to. and they are rootin for you as well.

The only way we can preserve this hobby is to teach othehrs how to do it. and how to do it with integrity. If some one makes a bunch of great finds but they didnt back fill their holes, trespassed, and where mean and rude to other people.THE FINDS DONT MEAN SQUAT.

IF your polite to people watching you, polite to land owners, respect property and always back fill your holes. you give a very good impression not only of your self but of this hobby. insuring states, counties, towns, and localities will not ban this wonderful activity with in their juridictions.

i know this has been a lil off topic of your original thread. i just wanted to add a lil bit to the wise words of boobie.

good luck with that DD coil and happy huntin
