Default XL Pro

Just recently bought a used XL Pro. I had the chance to get one, they are getting hard to find. Got a deal on the machine with 8 inch coil and Killer Bee headphones.
Ive read the manual everynight before bedtime, lol. But I have a long way to go to become proficient with it. I want a 5.3 coil/need a 5.3 coil. I really enjoy the squeeze of a trigger to change operating modes.
Any of you guys still using one?
Merry Christmas
John

I had a 6000 Di Pro SL and sold it..... The XL Pro like yours was the next upgrade, smaller box and lighter. I use an Eagle II and a 6000/ Di S3 now as far as White's units go.
The XL Pro's are very nice units and will keep right up with the newer White's detectors. Many people hang onto them and your right about them getting rare. If you get the 5.3 to go along with the 8'' and the 9.5'',,, you'll have a killer setup.

im pretty new to metal detecting. Ive been a few times in the past and bought my white XL pro a few years back, found it and have gotten back into metal detecting again. Does anyone have any tips on using it, I should probably pick up my manual and start flipping through it. Does your manual say 6000 PRO XL?
