to swap or not to swap
I recently traded for a whites 6000 di ser 3 and like the machine, but it is a little heavy. i was thinking of selling it and buying either an ace 250 or an f2 and maybe a second detector for my kids to use. As this is my first and only detector, will the newer technology provide me with a machine that's equal in performance than the6000? or should I stick with the old dinosaur?
It seems as though used machines are going for about 180.00+ sh on e-bay,hopefully I could get more as mine looks to be brand new,no scratches or anything,I think it was a closet queen before I got it. Your thoughts/ideas are appreciated, Hank

Hank dont know what to tell you...I have prizmIII that I cant pinpoint like I could with older whites,,, but am going to fl what now looks like March and am bringing both machines.... dont get me wrong have found lots with prizm....18$clad couple rings...one silver dime... just going to try both..old whites like tying sledge hammer to arm.... but am going for under water machine soon maybe think in that direction.....Chick!

Hey Hank, If it's feelin heavy and ya can get the price Ya want for it then I would say get rid of it and go for someting newer and lighter for ya. The Ace 250, the F2 or even the Tesoro Compadre or Cibola. Why Fight The weight and Take the Enjoyment out of your hunting. JMHO. Good Luck whatever Ya decide.
