Parker, glad to have you with us .. I do a little beach hunting with an XLT..You will need a scoop to collect your sand to find your treasure..I would also not hold it straight up after being in the water because the water could travel back down the tube to the control box.Check the section on beach hunting on this site. It has a lot of good info on it.... Beach hunting is great. I think you will like it a bunch...Happy Hunting...Buster...
