Oh that MXT 300 looks mighty tempting. Do I really have to make the house note payment this month?

They do look nice, and that 12" coil looks like it will go deep, and cover some ground.

I have been reading a bit about these on a dedicated White's site. Seems like quite a few folks are a tad upset. The are wanting White's to put out a "true" new machine. Some of these people are worried about White's getting left behind by other companies?

I dunno change a coil, slap some new paint and charge $100 more? What is your view? Just wondering really, Beale.

Looks that way to me. Same ad as when I bought mine with a picture and price change. But they give you a "free" $100 pinpointer if you buy it before June 15.

Thanks
Leo

I agree, same machine new paint job and optional coil as standard coil. I love my M6 ,and I am still learning all that it is capable of doing, but I do believe White's needs to come out with a NEW machine. I got the free BullsEye with the M6 ,with the last promotion White's was doing.

If all that's changed is the bigger coil and paint, it wouldn't be worth upgrading a DFX or MXT.....just buy another coil. Maybe Indy would hook you up with a paint job, talk nice to her and maybe it won't have to be pink .

I asked the dealer when I bought my DFX last week, and nothing has changed except paint and the coil, even the coil is not really new, its been available. If I went the DFX 300 route it would have ended up costing me more because I would have had to get a smaller coil sooner or later anyway. I went stock, now if I want coils down the road ill buy used to give them a try.
